PMC MDCAT Test Date 2024 Download Notification
ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Medical Commission Wednesday announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be held on November 13.
A notification issued by the commission said that the exams will be conducted through public universities of all provinces and Islamabad on a single day and time.
PMC MDCAT Passing Percentage 2024
The passing percentage of paper-based MDCAT for admissions to MBBS programs will be 55 percent, while 45 percent for the BDS programs. In the last month, Pakistan Medical Commission PMC also decreased the passing percentage of the National Licensing Exam NLE from 70 percent to 50 percent. Both national and international Medical Graduates need to pass the NLE to acquire a license for a job or practice in Pakistan.
Another news about PMDC Bill 2024 is that Senate Standing Committee on health also dismissed the amendments presented by a few Senators in September, seeking to amend the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) Bill, 2024. In this regard, Senator Dr. Muhammad Humayun Mohmand chaired the meeting where the Committee asserted that a bill cannot be amended after it is passed and amendments can only be made in the Parliament.
PMC MDCAT Test Center
MDCAT will also be conducted in two international centers i.e. UAE and Saudi Arabia. Aspirants in other countries may either change their centers to UAE and Saudi Arabia or come to Pakistan for the exam.
The test will be conducted through Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences (Balochistan), University of Health Services (Punjab), Khyber Medical University (KPK), Dow University of Health Sciences (Sindh), and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (Islamabad, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan).
