The US-Pak Knowledge Corridor Training Program is being announced by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. It is effective for the academic year 2024. All students from Pakistan/AJK can apply free of charge for the fully-funded training in the United States of America through the US Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Program. A concessional fee of Rs. Participants will be charged a fee of Rs.2,500/- for online training. HEC will pay the remainder.

HEC (GRE) Training Program 2024
The US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor’s main goal is to support Pakistani talent or to encourage efforts to study at American colleges and earn a Ph.D. This program also allows 10 000 applicants to be selected for study at top colleges in the US over the next 10 years.
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) now allows Ph.D. candidates to take 40 hours of GRE General Training. The HEC hosts the training and conducts it equally (US–Pak Knowledge Corridor). The full online-based GRE training is available to all citizens of Pakistan and the AJK.

Who can apply?
All potential students and interested students can apply for a Ph.D. scholarship under the US-Pak Knowledge Corridor project by the HEC.
Eligibility Criteria
1-Applicant must be an AJK National or Pakistani citizen
2-They must have at least 4 years of a bachelor’s degree in B.S/B.Sc/B.E/ Equivalent to 16 years of formal education
3-Applicant should be able to pass a minimum of 1st division. They should also not have had 3rd or higher grades in their academic careers.
The application must not exceed 38 years of age. This applies only to regular faculty members at public universities and government colleges, as well as researchers employed by research and development organizations. In the rest of these cases, the maximum age is 33 years. They should not be already receiving an HEC scholarship. If you have participated in the training program in the past, you are not eligible to apply.
