Smog SOPs for Schools By Punjab School Education Department is announced. The Punjab School Education Department (SED) informed every CEO (DEAs) regarding the precautions to avoid smog. The department directed the authorities to take steps across the majority of Punjab schools. It also instructed the Punjab government notified that all teachers as well as students and staff will wear face masks during school hours. Apart from that, the SED has also instructed authorities to be aware that they have all the possible methods to protect students and teachers from the negative effects of Smog. SOPs for Smog by SED Punjab
- Wearing a Face Mask during school hours
- Water is essential to drink.
- Wear glasses
- Reduce outdoor activities
- There is no burning of waste materials
- Eyes are not rubbed.
- Sprinkles of water on dusty ground areas
The department also instructed authorities to monitor that they issue instructions for the head of the school to follow the SOPs on smog seriously and to implement the rules. The issue notice is intended for Punjab Public and Private schools in Punjab.
