Liaquat University Jamshoro is one of the oldest medical colleges in Pakistan. LUMHS was first established as a medical institution in 1881. It was elevated into a university in the year 1942 and was previously named Liaquat Medical College.

LUMHS Jamshoro Admission 2024 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
According to PMDC, the candidate must score at least 70% in the fsc/o level. Candidates must get a minimum of 60 percent marks in the LUMHS Entry Test for admission into any medical college in Sindh.It is mandatory for candidates Having domicile in Sindh Province to appear in the entry test for admission in the MBBS/BDS program in public & Private sector Medical Universities/Colleges of Sindh Province.
Following the Admission Regulations in the PM&DC PM&DC, the candidate must have passed the intermediate or the HSSC Pre-Medical Group or an equivalent exam (e.g., the A-Level exam, or 12th grade or similar) with at least 70 percent unadjusted marks.
But those who are waiting for results are also eligible to apply.A mere appearance on the Entry Test does not grant admission rights to or to any Medical & Dental University/College.Admissions will be granted following Seat allocation at the respective Universities and Colleges and solely on a merit basis.
LUMHS Admission Criteria & Requirements
LUMHS uses the same criteria for admission to postgraduate and undergraduate courses as stated and accepted from the HEC.HSSC or an equivalent certificate is required in conjunction with pre-medical exams for being admitted to MBBS, BDS, and DPT first division.The admission requirement to postgraduate degree programs is an advanced degree in the field of study you are interested in with a CGPA of 2.5 or Mphil for MS or Mphil or 3.00 in the case of obtaining admission to Ph.D.
