ICCBS UOK Internship Program 2024 for Medical and Dental Students was announced today by the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences ICCBS at the University of Karachi.This Internship Program offers an opportunity to participate in research activities at the molecular and cellular levels to attain preliminary proficiency in conducting clinically relevant research, formulating research questions, applying appropriate research methods, and critically interpreting findings.These Internship Opportunities are offered in Bioinformatics & Computational Chemistry, Cancer Research, Genomics, Medicinal Chemistry, Metabolic Disorders, Virology, Proteomics, Microbiology & Immunology, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Stem Cell Research, and Enzyme Inhibition Studies.
The aim of this program is to offer participants the opportunity to be engaged in research both at the molecular as well as level of the cell and also to reach an initial level of proficiency in conducting research that is clinically relevant. questions for research, apply appropriate research methodologies, and critically evaluate findings. It is composed of two research centers i.e HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry and Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Final Year Students of M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. can submit applications mentioning their area of interest, last
year’s (2021) mark sheet/marks proforma, letter of recommendation from the head of the department.
