The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan USEFP provides the Fulbright Foreign Language Teachers Assistants FLTA course to English instructors in Pakistan to develop their abilities and increase their English proficiency. FLTA can be described as a 9-month training program. FLTA will instruct Urdu and Pashto at American Colleges as well as Universities. It is a program that is fully funded. The program is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2024.
Fulbright FLTA participants are able to contribute up to 20 hours of English language instruction every week. They are also required to take at least two classes during the semester. One of them is US Studies. The remainder of the coursework must be connected to their professional career working in English instruction.

The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has provided a Fulbright foreign language teaching assistant Program for 2023. This FLTA Program is for English language teachers from all over Pakistan. This is a chance to develop their skills and enhance their English proficiency.
FLTA Program is a nine-month course that will instruct Urdu as well as Pashto within American educational institutions (Colleges and universities). The program is fully funded and will begin in the fall of 2024. Let us now tell you more about the program. Fulbright FLTA Eligibility Criteria
- Pakistani citizen with a legitimate Pakistani Passport.
- Residents of Pakistan during the process of nomination and selection.
- Be an early, young educator.
- At least 16 years of formal training.
- Teacher in teaching the English language or in a related area at the university or college at the university or college level.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
How do I apply
- Complete application materials comprising academic transcripts, and letters of reference, must be submitted online prior to the deadline for application submission. The application is online. Paper copies are not accepted.
- The deadline to submit an application in the application process for Fulbright FLTA 2022 expires on March 8, 2023.
