In a recent development, Punjab Govt Announces the Disbursement of Salaries and Pensions in Advance for the Month of April 2024. The main reason for the advance payments is Eid-ul- Fitr which is likely to fall on 22 April 2024. The Governor of Punjab is happy to announce this payment of wages and pensions in advance on the 17th of April in celebration of ” Eid-ul-Fitr” to all Muslim Govt employees working in Punjab.
