KMU MBBS BDS Admission 2024-23 For KP Government Medical Colleges

Khyber Medical University {KMU) is the university with admissions and is inviting applications for KMU MBBS BDS Admission 2024-23 for one of the Public Sector Medical and Dental Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and for reciprocal seats in AJK and other provinces.

Application forms will be available online at the KMU admission website http://cas.kmu.edu.pk from November 25, 2024. The deadline to submit the application form to be admitted to the public sector Dental and Medical Dental schools of KP is December 9, 2024. Medical Board of disabled students will be held on December 13, 2024.

The test for the hifz-e Quran shall be held between 14 and 15 November 2024. The admission process online will begin at the end of November 2024 and the deadline when you can apply to KP Medical Colleges Admission is December 9, 2024. KMU Eligibility Criteria for Government Medical & Dental Colleges

  • The candidate must be able to pass by obtaining at least 60 percentage points at the 60% mark in Higher Secondary School Certificate or F.Sc (Pre-Medical|} or an equivalent certificate at the BISE or BISE in Pakistan or in the world.
  • Candidates who took part in the Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 and passed the MDCAT exam with 55 percentage points in MBBS and 45 percent in BDS.
  • The candidates who reside in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/ Newly Merged Tribal Districts (NMTD)

Merit / Aggregate Formula 2024 for KP Government Medical & Dental Colleges

The basis for determining the merit of admission is calculated by a percentage of marks that is derived from the formula used by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC} and Department of Health, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as follows the following formula

  • Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent = 10deg/o
  • Intermediate Pre-Medical (HSSC) or equivalent = 40 percent
  • MDCAT = 50%

How to apply for KMU Online Admissions 2024 for KP Medical Colleges

The candidates shall apply online on the KMU admissions website (http://cas.kmu.edu.pk) as per the following steps/procedure:

STEP 1: Visit. http://cas.kmu.edu.pk and click create an account. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the procedure.

STEP 2: Fill in your information and choose the seat category (Open Merit / NMTD/FATA OPF Backward Areas, Disabled Reciprocal, APS, Minority) you wish to be applying for. A separate admissions form with the fee must be completed for seats that are General Self-Finance.

Step 3: Upload readable scans of documents.

Step 4: Create fee slip(s) (Open Merit General Self Finance, FATA/NMTD, OPF, Disabled, Backward Areas, Reciprocal & Minorities, and APS Seats) and print it. Go to any of the branches at the Bank of Khyber and deposit MBBS and BDS fees in separate installments. A separate processing fee for applications must be paid to secure General Self-Finance seats.

STEP 5: Login again to verify the payment information and then submit the application.

Be sure to keep the original fee slip in order to be used as evidence in the admissions process.

Incomplete or inadequate applications will not be accepted.

Admission forms are not accepted by mail or courier.

Applicants from NMTD/FATA and Backward Areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shall submit their certificates of the location of institutes {http://krnuadmissions.pk) without these certificates, their application forms will not be accepted.

(iv) The applicant should declare all colleges that are accepting applications in order of priority within the specified fields on the online application. Once completed will be final. future changes won’t be considered.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

  • The candidates will be only eligible for those Quotas/Seats/Colleges for which they applied online and printed on their Downloaded Application Form.
  • Candidates are required to create the below SCAN Copies for application:–
  1. Detailed Marks Certificate (F.Sc or Equivalent).
  2. Matric Certificate, Matric DMC, or Equivalent
  3. An equivalent certificate is issued by the International Board Committee of Chairmen(IBCC), Islamabad, in the event that the certificate of qualification is from a foreign education system.
  4. Hafiz-Quran certificate for those who declare to be Hafiz-e Quran.
  5. Secondary School Certificate (Science/equivalent).
  6. Domicile certificate, as stated within the test entry form.
  7. Domicile certificate from the dad of the applicant. If the father is not present the residence certificate of the mother, and that of the deceased father.
  8. Computerized National Identity Card / Computerised Form-B for the candidate (Both sides)
  9. Computerized National Identity Card of the father of the applicant(Both Sides). If a father isn’t alive or not present, then the National Identity Card of the mother and guardian is.
  10. Valid parent’s OPF Membership Card, as well as Foreign Exchange Remittance Card (Valid at the time of closing the application form to be admitted) in the case of applicants who are applying against overseas Pakistani Seats Candidates, are applying for OPF Seats must submit their application with all required documents in OPF office Islamabad.   11. A certificate of the place of education institutions from the Heads of Schools/ Principals Masters of the institutions concerned must be presented by candidates from MERGED AREA DISTRICTS (MAD) as well as backward regions.
  12. In the event that the candidate has completed F.Sc Part-I and Part II education from various institutions, he or she must present a document attesting to the institution from which F. Sc. Part-1 and Part-II were received.
  13. Disability certificate issued by Social Welfare Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
  14. Disability medical certificate on a prescribed form from a certified expert if applying against seats reserved exclusively for people with disabilities.

The candidates must adhere to the guidelines of the government. Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Covid-19 i.e. wearing a mask that is properly fitted and maintaining a social distance of 6 feet in the Interview hall.
