The Higher Education Commission (HEC) announced dates for the Special Law Graduate Assessment Test (SGAT) 2024 dates for registration. HEC will administer the SGAT with the help of the Education Testing Council (ETC) to award degrees to students from unrecognized international institutes in Lahore.
Therefore, the commission made the decision to offer this opportunity to the students in Category C who are 3006 as well as the 3566 students in Category D from Global Institutes, Lahore.
Candidates who wish to get their degree recognized must be able to take the SGAT test and pass with a minimum of 50% marks in one go. So, to apply, go to the HEC website and fill out an application online for the SGAT 2024. The deadline for SGAT registration is January 31, 2024.

HEC Special Graduate Assessment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The 14, 16 and 18 years degree students from The Global Institute, Lahore, are eligible to take the Special GAT test for 2024.
Exam Dates and Centers in Special GAT 2024
It is expected that the HEC is scheduled to conduct the GAT Special on the 12th of March 2024 (tentatively). In the event of any changes to testing, HEC informs the applicants via their registered email or contact numbers. The candidates who are registered will be able to download the roll number slips of the Special GAT and HEC Law GAT one week prior to the test.
However, the HEC will be conducting an SGAT 2024 SGAT 2024 across the following cities.
- Rawalpindi
- Lahore
- Faisalabad
- Multan
Candidates can choose the city they prefer to test. Each center is able to accommodate just 250 candidates. Candidates should choose a nearby center, even if it is already filled with 250 candidates.
How To apply for the Special GAT 2024
- Go to this HEC ETC portal to apply for the GAT 2024. GAT 2024. (https://etc.hec.gov.pk)
- Deposit 3000 RS processing fee in HBL A/C # 79001334 01 A/C Title Higher Education Commission.
- Upload the scanned and paid fee challan to the portal to finish the application.
