Eligibility Criteria

• The general eligibility requirements for the Undergraduate Scholarship Program for Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) applicants are as follows:
• The applicants should have a local or domicile certificate from Gilgit-Baltistan.
• The applicants must be able to complete Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and/or Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) and/or equivalent.
• However, preference is given to students who have completed or passed their SSC/HSSC or have a similar qualification from Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Applicants who are currently taking advantage of any other HEC/Government scholarships are not eligible to apply.
• Students who are enrolled in a BS Program prior to advertisement for a maximum of one academic year per session are also eligible to apply.
• The awarding to students will be given regardless of gender race, caste and religion.
• The applicants are eligible to submit an application for admission to every Public Sector university/institution in Pakistan.
• But any expense that is greater than and beyond the amount stated in the PC-1 form will be borne by the student’s responsibility.

HEC GB Scholarship 2024 Benefits

Qualification Required

• To apply for Ph.D. ME/MH/Mphil and equivalent to 18 years of education
• In order to qualify, you must have a Master B.S. or Masters equivalent to 16 years of college

CGPA Required

• The first division of the annual system.
• 4.0 Cgpa out of 5
• 3.0 CGPA out of 4

Age Required

• A minimum of 35 years old is the minimum age for a person to be eligible.
• For faculty members, there is a five years of age restraint
