Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced admissions dates for the Fall 2024 semester. The initial phase of admissions is scheduled to begin on the 15th of July, while the second phase will start on September 1, and will run all across the country.AIOU Admissions Schedule for Autumn 2024 is available on this page. As per the reports, during the initial phase, applicants are received for Matric (General) Matric (Dars-e-Nizami) Matric (Open Courses), FA (General), FA (Dars-e-Nizami), FA (Open Courses), I. Com middle technology, certificate courses, BS, MBA, MPhil/MS in addition to Ph.D. courses.

To improve the convenience of students who live near to the AIOU campus, its Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood, has approved the setting up of Information counters and facilitation centers, and prospectus sale locations across the country. Prof. Mahmood has issued directives to regional heads of departments, asking them to provide comprehensive guidelines to students. To help pupils, AIOU is planning to establish prospectus sales points throughout the country to ensure that students are able to get the materials they require at locations close to their homes.
To try to ensure that all students have the opportunity to gain access to the best education available, region-head tutors, regional heads, and other resource persons are directed to actively take part in the admissions campaign. Candidates who apply online should not mail applications in printed form to universities.

AIOU Schedule for Autumn Admission 2024
Vice-Chancellor AIOU Prof Dr. Nasir Mahmood has given the go-ahead to create information counters, facilitation centers, and prospectus sale points throughout the nation to aid students at the closest locations to their homes. Prof. Nasir Mahmood instructed the regional head of schools to instruct the students in the right way. He instructed regional teachers, heads and other resource personnel to actively be involved in the admissions process to ensure that every child is not left without a school. Prospectuses and application forms for all programs will be made available online on the university’s website (www.aiou.edu.pk) on July 15th, 2024. Admission to BS (face-to-face) MS/MPhil, MS/Ph.D., and Ph.D. programs are only made through an online system. Admission forms for matriculation intermediate and Com may be completed by hand or via online mode. If you opt for online submission of an admission application form, candidates do not have to send the application form in printed format to the school.
