Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen PBCC has issued an important announcement on the possibility of improving scores.
Students in board classes 9th,10th11th and 12th are able to improve their marks by appearing several times at the examinations. Before this announcement, there were several guidelines for improvement and the chances of improvement were restricted.
Students can now increase their grades, even if they are lower than 50%, or more. There are no limitations to improvement possibilities.
Unlimited Improvement Chances in BISE Boards Exams Official Notification
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons at its meeting on the 16th of November, 2024, discussed petition no. 52363/2022, which was filed to Ms. Nafar Fatima versus the Govt of Punjab via agenda item no. 2. It concerns The Marks Improvement policy.
- The disputed notification no 96-SY/PBCC/LHR of 31 March 2024 released by PBCC regarding the restriction of possibilities of improvement is annulled.
- Students are able to use numerous opportunities for improvement of their scores as they’d wish.
- This decision will come into effect beginning with the First Annual Examinations, (SSC and HSSC) 2019 and onwards.
