Sindh Matric And Inter Exams Date 2024 New paper pattern. According to the latest information the Matric exam will begin on May 8 and the inter-exams 2024 start at the end of May in the province which includes Karachi.
The meeting was held under the direction of Secretary for School Education Sindh Ghulam Akbar Laghari. The Secretary of the colleges Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo, Chairman of Boards and Acting Director of Private Institutions Sindh Professor Afzal Ahmed, and a representative of the Private Schools Association Tariq Shah were also present at the meeting.

The decision was made in an assembly of the subcommittee on the Steering Committee. The exam pattern for Matric Board and inter exams has also altered. In accordance with the new format, it is said that the proportion of MCQs in the classes 9th, 10th 11th, 12th, and 9th is reduced from 40 percent to 20%. The MCQs were given 40% of the total in the previous inter and matric examinations but in accordance with the decision that short answers and more detailed answers are offered a 40/40% percentage on paper.
The committee has rejected the earlier suggestion of launching the matriculation tests on April 28, the day following Eid-ul-Fitr. The committee argued that the exams for sixth through eighth grades are held during Ramadan therefore it would not be feasible to hold the exams for the board simultaneously. Matric exams start on May 8 while inter exams will commence on May 23 for the province.
