Pakistan Premier Minister Imran Khan Arrested by NAB on Today 9 May 2024 in front of the Islamabad High Court, local media informed. The party he is a part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claimed Imran Khan was pushed around by Pakistani Rangers while being arrested and injured. PTI Vice-President Fawad Chaudhry alleged in a tweet that Khan was taken from the courthouse, and that scores of lawyers and others were beaten. “Imran Khan has been whisked away by unknown people to an unknown location, CJ Islamabad High Court has ordered Secy Interior and IG police to appear within 15 min in the court,” the tweet reads. PTI attorney Faisal Chaudhry confirmed the news. PTI president Musarrat Cheema, in a video message posted on Twitter, wrote: “They are torturing Imran Khan in the present… They are beating Khan Shahib. They’ve done something to Khan Sahib.”

PTI leadership said that Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq has reportedly asked to the Islamabad police chief as well as the interior ministry secretary, and the attorney general’s assistant for their appearance before the justice department in 15 minutes, according to reports through the Dawn and asked them to provide the court with a reason the reason Khan was detained. “Come to court and tell us why has Imran been arrested and in which case,” Justice Farooq said according to The Dawn publication. The arrest warrant for Imran Khan was circulated through NAB Rawalpindi on May 1st and was carried out through Rangers in Islamabad today.

Confirming his arrest via the social media platform Twitter PTI president Musarrat Cheema declared, “They are torturing Imran Khan right now, they are beating Khan sahib. They have done something with Khan sahib.”In the wake of being exiled from his post as the Prime Minister by the vote of no-confidence in April of last the year Khan is linked to over one hundred cases. Khan believes that the US-led plot was targeted at Khan due to his own foreign policy choices concerning Russia, China, and Afghanistan.
PTI Vice-President Fawad Chaudhry also took to Twitter and claimed that the IHC is “occupied by the Rangers” and that lawyers “are being subjected to torture”.

Pakistan was able to arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan last Tuesday over numerous corruption charges, in a move that could add to the turmoil in the country.
“Imran Khan has been arrested and our workers are being subjected to torture,” Khan’s close adviser and former minister of information, Fawad Chaudhry, said. Khan’s supporters engaged in a fight with riot police after they took him away at the courthouse of Islamabad High Court (IHC) which is in which he was to appear as part of the bail application.
“Khan has been arrested in one of the many corruption charges he faces,” an official from the security department told dpa.
