FBISE Grading New GPA System 2024 For Matric And Inter Exams

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has revealed a new grading system for the Matric and Inter examinations. The marks system has been eliminated and students will receive GPA on a scale of 1-5. The exact marks won’t be listed on the results cards of students. It is the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has changed the system of marking marks with a brand new grading system that is applicable to Matrics and Inter examinations. A notification has been made in this respect by FBISE. It has been made public for the information of everyone worried that FBISF will announce in a gradual manner the results and levels from the system of grading instead of absolute marks, in an effort to end the practice of racial discrimination in marks.

In this respect, it was decided that the system of grading for grades 9th and 11th grade will start with the Annual Examinations 2024 and for classes 10th and 12th starting from the Annual Examinations 2024. In the future, those results from Annual Examination 2025 will be communicated only in total marks, grades, and GPA. Annual Examination 2025 will be disclosed only in grades GPA as well as Cumulative GPA Point Average (CGPA).

Improvement of Grade/Marks

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad was the one to conduct each of the SSC as well as HSSC regular and additional tests. If any student failed to get the grade marks that they would have liked, they are eligible to apply for an Improvement of Grade/Marks.

Candidates who wish to improve their marks/grades should be considered by their respective Federal Board authorities. Following the FBISE Results students have only 30 days to submit an application.
