Finance Department Punjab has written an email to all Accountant Generals Of Punjab about the donation made to the people affected by the earthquake in Turkey. Deduction Of Salaries From Punjab Govt. Employees Notification is given below.
This decision was taken from the Punjab Provincial Caretaker Cabinet in the meeting that was held on 25.02.2024 in accordance with an additional decision No.02 to make a donation of money from the salaries of Punjab Government employees for the victims of the unfortunate earthquakes in Turkey in the following ways

Finance Department Punjab has directed all Accountant Generals in Punjab to take the necessary deduction from the wages of employees in the above-mentioned during March month 2024 for every Administrative Department. Check also Govt and Pension Employees get Advance salary of Eid ul Fitr 2024.

Attached are departments, District Education Authorities, District Health Authorities, and Field Formations that are paid salaries via District Accounts Offices, the Accountant General Punjab, and District Accounts Offices, and are accounted for this at the time of the final payroll at the end of the month.

However, the Federal Government has already announced the possibility of the deduction of one day’s salary to the PM Earthquake Relief Fund. Only BPS-17 employees and above in that of the Federal Government Will have to take a day’s salary deduction. In Punjab, the amount of salary/pay deduction is from up to three days.
