Directorate of Public Instructions (DPI) Punjab has issued the following letter to all Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) concerning ” Disposal of Pending Promotion Cases” on the 26th of January, 2024.Latest promotion Criteria for Teachers is given.
It has been observed that many teachers are waiting to be promoted after having completed 20 or 25 years of work at the same time. Their absence or lack of ACRS for the prior period of between 10 to fifteen years back is the primary issue and the reason for the delay in promotions. A majority of the officers who report and countersign have either retired from government work or died and it is difficult at this point to keep their older records (C.R. Dossier).
Education was delighted to resolve the problem on a priority basis to address the grievances of teachers in need and to state that if the last five years’ PERS of teachers in question are completeness in all respects, then for the evaluation of their suitability for teaching greater weightage could be assigned to the record of service/PERS for the last five years.

It was also observed that these waiting-for-posting teachers are getting closer to retirement. This topic was brought up at a meeting between teachers’ representatives and the secretary for School Education as well as the School Secretary. check also FBISE Latest Increased Pass Percentage.
Make sure you follow this letter in spirit and letter and in pending promotions cases for all Teachers in the District Cadre i.e. PST-EST, or EST and SST, could be dismissed in accordance with the letter. Other terms and conditions that are described in Promotion Policy and amendments issued periodically must be strictly observed.
ی پی آئی پنجاب نے تمام سی ای اوز پنجاب کو مورخہ 26 جنوری 2024 کو ایک انتہائی اہم لیٹر لکھا ہے جس میں کہا گیا ہے کہ تمام کیڈر کے ٹیچرز کی ایک بہت بڑی تعداد جو پچھلے 20 سے 25 سال کی سروس کے باوجود پروموشن سے محروم ہیں ان کی پروموشن میں تاخیر کی بنیادی وجہ اور رکاوٹ 10 سے 15 سالوں کی اے سی آرز کی ڈیمانڈ ہے۔ڈی پی آئی پنجاب کا کہنا تھا پچھلے 10 سے 15 سالوں کی اے سی آر پر دستخط کرنے والے آفسران یا تو گورنمنٹ سروس سے ریٹارئر ہو چکے ہیں یا وہ وفات پا چکے ہیں لہذہ ٹیچرز کے لیے اب اے سی آرز پر دستخط کروانا ناممکن سی بات ہے ۔
یہ بنیادی مسئلہ سکریٹری سکول ایجوکیشن کے ساتھ اساتذہ کے نمائندوں کے اجلاس میں زیر بحث آیا اور سکریٹری اسکول کو اس مسئلے کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کرنے پر خوشی ہوئی ۔اگر ترقی پانے والے اساتذہ کی پچھلے پانچ سال کی اے سی آر ہر لحاط سے مکمل ہیںتو ان کی پروموشن میں کوئی رکاوٹ نہ کھڑی کی جائے ۔پروموشن کے لیے صرف پچھلے پانچ سال کی اے سی آرز ہی درکار ہوں گی۔
تمام ڈسٹرکٹ ایجوکیشن آفیسرز اس لیٹر کی تعمیل کو یقینی بنائیں اور تمام کیڈرز کے اساتذہ کے زیر التوا پروموشن کیسز کو جلد از جلد پایہ تکمیل تک پہچانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں ۔
